Installation and Updating
New software of any kind can be daunting. After all, it’s something new, and it’s not always something you have time to learn. We understand that. That’s why we offer an affordable installation and upgrading service.
Installing Your Members
Your Members WordPress Membership Plugin might seem a little scary at first, but its intuitive interface and installation wizard make installing and setting up Your Members a synch. If you’re concerned about it or just don’t have the time to play with it, why not let the development team who created the plugin handle it for you?
For a one-time fee of £30 (approx $45 USD) our development team will:
- Set up the Your Members core WordPress plugin
- Create up to 3 packages (subscriptions)
- Set up a sample registration page and customer flow (including custom fields)
- Set up an example of a protected page for you to follow
- Set the protection levels (full, flexible)
- Set up and connect your payment gateway
Please Note: This is a basic installation, for a basic membership site.
Getting Started with Basic Install
And what will you need to do to get started?
- Provide information about the subscriptions you’d like to create, including the cost and duration of the subscription.
- Information about any additional fields you’ll need on the registration pages or information you’ll need to handle.
- Information for your payment gateway.
- WordPress login information (for an administration level account).
- FTP/SFTP or SSH server access.

Enhanced Installation Service
Want a few extra features or functionalities with your Your Members installation? We can do that, too. Our development team is only too happy to help you with a number of different integrations and installations, including:
- Mail Manager setup and integration with wp-mail or a third party provider
- Secure Stream installation, with Amazon s3 or Cloudfront integration
- Sample video pages
- Facebook app installation (Note: You must have an SSL certificate for your site, or include WordPress hardening additional package. This does not include fb.php creation inside Facebook.)
- Registration, login, purchase flows over SSL where available
Enhanced installation includes everything in the basic installation service as well as any of these additional features. The Enhanced Your Members Installation Service is available for £66 ($95 USD) .
If your copy of WordPress is out of date, the team can update that at the same for just an additional £10 ($15USD approx)
Update Your Members
We will require the following to update your copy of Your Members:
- Your WordPress login details (administration level access)
- FTP/SFTP or SSH server access

**We’ll do our best to get to you as soon as possible, but please be aware that we can get pretty busy, particularly right after new versions have been released. This means it may take a few days to complete your upgrade or installation. However, if delays seem likely, we’ll let you know. When we’re done, we’ll send you an invoice you can pay quickly and easily through Internet banking or PayPal.
