YM 10.0.0 Change Log

Below are the Change Logs for 10.0.0 Dev revision for the version 10 branch of Your Members, Premium Support holders can refer to nightly build information for their latest version.

We are pleased to announce 10.0.0 which includes:

New Features

• Allowed Premature Extension of a Subscription (Forum Post), users can rebuy their current subscription on the upgrade/downgrade page
• Allowed the giving of Gift Subscriptions, rather than manually edition each option for a member in WP-Admin, an Admin can give a member a subscription
• Set a specific end date for a packages this option is called “Force Expiry Date” and is available on packages page and members page
• Batch edit users by account type and subscription expiry dates
• Full Protect mode, if you create a post and forget to add the private tags but do add membership restrictions the post becomes wrapped in private tags and protected accordingly
• On subscription expiry, you can select a per subscription, subscription to put the user on, rather than just expiring. (User remains active)
• Tweaked pagination on the members listing page
• Completely revamped the admin interface
• Many admin options have been reworded, relabelled and moved about
• When creating a post you can add it to a Pay Per Post Pack/Bundle

Bug Fixes

• YM Dashboard Loading Fail (Forum Post)
• Fixed a bug where you get stuck in a loop when updating from an old (pre 1.9) version of YM
• Fixed a display bug when all Trial gateways were disabled
• Made an adjustment to the RSS enclosures to allow them to be included in feeds correctly, for Podcasting (for example)
• Fixed an initialisation/first install bug which was generating some bad initial settings data
• Custom Field Type of Yes/No not being displayed when supposed to be (Forum Post)
• There were cases where the “Unbought Post Text Message” was not being displayed where it was supposed to be, this has been fixed
• There was a language error (login instead of Change Password) on the YM user profile password change form shortcode (Forum Post)
• Account Type (now called Package Types) deletion now works, and you can add Package types from this page

Misc

• Changed some of the settings page layout
• A new Support Section which will in time expand and improve
• Language Change as suggested (Forum Post)
• Some minor behind the scenes math for navigation/breadcrumb awareness
• Some minor jQuery animation fun on notification boxes
• Po and Mo language files updated with new and additional/missing strings
• Legacy Shortcode function removed, it has been deprecated for a while but has now been removed
• Replaced all WordPress Deprecated Functions with replacement functions
